The earlier National Police Agency umbrella term, adopted in December 2004, covering the ore-ore ("it's me") impersonation calls and related fee, refund and loan-guarantee frauds. Superseded as the umbrella by 特殊詐欺 from 2012 as the methods stopped depending on bank transfers, though it survived as a named sub-grouping for several years afterwards.
Superseded. This term is no longer current in the language it comes from. It is documented here because it persists in English-language writing long after its own agency moved on — which is itself the reason to check which term a figure was compiled under.

What English gets wrong
It survives in English-language writing long after Japanese usage moved on, so English sources routinely describe current Japanese fraud with a term that is absent from current NPA statistics.
What to write instead
tokushu sagi for current material. Reserve furikome sagi for the period it actually names, and say which umbrella a figure was compiled under.
